Recycling is the 11th episode of Series 2 of "Peppa Pig".
Synopsis
The family are sorting out the recycling things and take them to the recycling centre.
Summary
At the house, Mr. Bull comes to get the family's rubbish while they have breakfast. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Peppa wonders what's making that sound, and Daddy Pig tells them that Mr. Bull was making the sound because he collects others' rubbish privately.
Peppa, George, and Daddy go out to say hello to Mr. Bull, as he needs to collect more rubbish on the way as he drives off. Daddy tells Mummy Pig that he emptied the bin for them, and they start cleaning up the table. Peppa decides to help by putting the juice bottle into the rubbish bin. Although, Mummy Pig stops her because she isn't putting it in the right place, as it needs to be recycled. Peppa gets confused on what "recycle" means. Daddy and Mummy tell her it means that something old can turn into something new. Daddy shows the red box is for newspapers, the blue box is for tin cans, and the green box is for bottles.
First, Peppa puts the bottle into the green one, and next, Mummy Pig asks George to find a newspaper for the red box, and finds Daddy having one, which he is still reading. But Daddy Pig says he is still reading it, but he resisted and gives it to George and puts it into the red box. Now they all have the things they collected, they can all go to the recycling centre. They all go out to the recycling centre, as Mummy Pig has the bottles, Peppa has the tin cans, and George has the newspapers, and they hop on and drive there. During the drive, Peppa sings a song about recycling as they arrive at the recycling centre.
The family goes to Miss Rabbit, and accepts they're going to recycle. Peppa questions on what she is doing, and Daddy says that Miss Rabbit is recycling the rusty old cars. Afterwards, they go to the recycle bins. First of all, Daddy Pig puts all the bottles in the green square, Mummy Pigs puts the tin cans into the blue box, and George puts the newspapers in the red box.
Daddy Pig claims that there will be enough recycling for the day. However, as they were just about to get home, Miss Rabbit accidentally mistakes the family's car as an old car. Peppa stops her for recycling their car, and Miss Rabbit apologizes that she got carried away as they all laugh.
