"Pirate Island" is the 79th episode of "Peppa Pig" and 23rd episode of 2.
Summary
Granny and Grandpa Pig take the children on a trip to Pirate Island. Grandpa Pig falls asleep and leaves them behind. He comes back to pick them up.
Plot
Peppa and her friends are going on a boat trip with Grandpa and Granny Pig on board. After getting on board, they drove off in the sea, as the children say "see you later" to the mummies and daddies. During the boat trip, Grandpa hands George a pirate hat, and announces they will sale to pirate island. Grandpa tells them if they're lucky, they might find buried treasure. He yells "Land ahoy!" and sees with his telescope that they found a small island.
They all get off, and Grandpa brings out a pirate flag in the middle of the island, and now claims it as "Pirate Island". He later brings out a meddle-detector, and shows the children it finds treasure. He starts finding stuff in the sand, first of all, he finds something, which Pedro digs and finds a coin. Next, he has found something big, which Peppa, Suzy, Zoë, and Pedro dig in the sand. Grandpa has think he found a real treasure chest, but he has found an old shopping trolley.
Granny ideas that they should build a sandcastle after treasure hunting, and Grandpa Pig goes to his boat and checks on his boat. The children start building the sandcastle, meanwhile, Grandpa reads his newspaper, but begins napping instead. The children start detailing the sandcastle, with using buckets and spades to make it look like a real castle.
After building, Granny suddenly notices the boat has gone, and Peppa spots the boat, and Grandpa Pig is still napping, not noticing the boat is drifting away. They all try to shout and wake at Grandpa Pig up, but still sleeps. The children think they will be in Pirate Island for 100 years, and have to eat disgusting stuff. Meanwhile, Grandpa Pig on his boat has drifted all the way back to where they started, and He now notices that he has left behind the children and Granny.
He now runs back on his boat to collect the children, and apologizes that he won't sleep on his boat again. When getting on the boat, Peppa waves goodbye to Pirate Island, and Peppa and Grandpa will think for sure they will come back, and laugh altogether.
