Biography[]
Penny Polar Bear is a minor character who is sometimes present in Peppa's playgroup. She is the daughter of the show's first and currently only lesbian couple, Mummy Polar Bear, a housewife, and Doctor Polar Bear, a doctor who treats Peppa in Health Check. Penny loves sledding and other winter-based sports. She also loves dressing up. She is one of the only children from playgroup to wear glasses and has a somewhat scratchy voice.
Personality[]
Penny Polar Bear is kindhearted and inclusive to others. She enjoys sharing her thoughts and opinions and also likes to give compliments. In Weather Station, she shares how she likes snowy weather the best, and in Families, she shares about her family. In Igloo, she compliments Peppa on her built igloo. However, she can also be argumentative at times, as seen in Playgroup Garden, where she, Danny, and Peppa get into a fight regarding which of their sunflowers are the tallest.

Penny Polar Bear has small pink circle-shaped ears and a white face. She has light pink cheeks and a darker pink mouth. She has a black nose and wears black glasses. Being a polar bear, she has a small white tail and wears a light, navy-blue shirt. She wears black shoes. She is similar to other characters who were glasses, like Pedro Pony, Belinda Bear, and Molly Mole.

- Her parents are Mummy Polar Bear and Doctor Polar Bear, the first lesbian couple in the show.
- It is unknown whether Doctor Polar Bear is her stepmother, or whether Penny was born through artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization.
