Manuel Pig[citation needed], most often referred as Grandpa Pig is a recurring supporting character in "Peppa Pig". He is voiced by David Graham. He is the grandfather of Peppa and George, and the husband of Granny Pig. He is also the father of Mummy Pig and Auntie Dottie.
Biography
Grandpa Pig was born in 1940 and is the grandfather of Peppa and George. He is also the husband of Granny Pig, the father of Mummy Pig, and the father-in-law of Daddy Pig. He is also assumedly the father of Auntie Dottie.
George calls him "Papa Ig".
He is also the best friend and friendly to Granddad Dog.
He first appears in the episode, "Polly Parrot", when Peppa and George come to his and Granny Pig's house.
His name is listed as Manuel on the h-o-m-e website[1], but is referred to as "Grandpa Pig" through the books and TV show.
Looks
Grandpa Pig wears an indigo shirt and black shoes. He can also be seen wearing an indigo captain’s hat with a white anchor symbol on it. However, he doesn't wear this all the time.

- On Polly Parrot until The Tree House, he doesn't wear his captain's hat but in Grandpa Pig's Boat, Grandpa Pig wears his captain's hat for the rest of the series.
- Grandpa Pig isn’t very good at using computers, but he is the best at mending things and he is able to mend a computer when it breaks. He also made a racing car for George in "George's Racing Car".
- Since Grandpa Pig and his wife are the maternal grandparents of Peppa and George, Daddy Pig's family shares the same last name as him, though it’s unknown why all the animals' last names are their species.
- Grandpa Pig is shy around people like Mr. Stallion & Mrs. Corgi.
