Daddy Fox or Mr. Fox is a character in "Peppa Pig".
Bio[]
He's the husband of Mrs. Fox and father of Freddy Fox. He runs a shop that sells everything anyone could possibly need or want. He also runs a van to transport several of the items around the area, as well as try to sell them.
Personality[]
Generous and kind, Mr. Fox is always willing to give someone an item - as long as he brought it with him or hadn't sold out of it yet. He is friendly and seems to enjoy taking late night strolls during the evening. He is also a decent seller, willing to accept a payment of buttons from George, instead of actual money.
Appearance[]
Like Freddy and his wife, he is an orange fox with a white tipped tail and a black nose. He has dull, dark orange cheeks and a brown mouth. He has a straight, pencil thin mustache and wears a dull brown-red shirt and black shoes.
Quotes[]
"It's made of real plastic gold!"
"Try me."
Trivia[]
- He appears during the episode Night Animals, walking around the chicken coop owned by Grandpa Pig. This is an "inside-joke", in that foxes go after chickens and their eggs in real life. A similar joke was played with Daddy Wolf and Daddy Pig in another episode (referring to The Three Little Pigs).
- He is mostly called "Dad" while the other young animals call their fathers "Daddy".
- Also in Freddy Fox, when Daddy Fox arrived to pick Freddy up, he smelled dinner from one of the holes from Rebecca's house and then Mummy Rabbit popped up from the hole.
- Daddy Fox appeared in the credits before his son; he first appeared in the credits in "Princess Peppa."
- Daddy Fox originally didn’t have eyebrows, but they were added later.
- He might be a robber, as seen in many episodes.
- Daddy Fox's company was established in 2010, as seen on his van. That makes sense, since Freddy Fox premiered in 2010.
- In some newer episodes, the van says his business was established in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, or even 2022.
