Belinda Bear is a minor character in "Peppa Pig".
Biography
Belinda Bear is one of the elder child characters on the show. She is friends with Simon Squirrel, and Chloé Pig, Peppa's cousin. She is the daughter of Miss Bear and Mr. Bear, and the niece of Doctor Brown Bear. She lives in a cottage in the woods with her parents, as revealed in Once Upon a Time. She calls herself Be (pronounced Bee) as a nickname and a way to act sophisticated. She enjoys reading fashion magazines and listens to "green's music." She claims that she is against children's music, but dances to it anyway in Chloé's Big Friends. Belinda also enjoys skateboarding and spending time with friends. In Chloé's Birthday Party, she runs an obstacle course with her friends but fails.
Personality
Belinda is slightly moody, a bit careless, but also caring and kind. In Chloé's Big Friends, she nicknames George "Ge" (pronounced Juh) and calls him and Peppa "little." She also thinks that children's music is "babyish," as revealed in Chloé's Big Friends and Roller Disco. She seems to act mature for her age, especially since she is only a few years older than Peppa. Her kindness is seen in a few episodes. In Once Upon a Time, she asks Peppa if she would like to have lunch with her family, and in Skateboarding, she gives Peppa a skateboarding lesson. Throughout the lesson, she also asks Peppa if she is feeling okay or if she needs assistance, which proves that she is caring. Belinda is good at following directions and likes to be part of any games that her friends play.
Appearance
Belinda is a brown bear with bear ears, a circle-shaped black nose, a dark pink cheek, and a darker pink mouth. She wears light/pale pink glasses and a cinnamon red and black striped dress. She has a bushy brown tail and wears black shoes. She is one of the only characters in the show to not wear a solid color dress as her main outfit. Belinda has never been seen wearing any other outfit besides her striped dress.
