Narrator: It is a lovely sunny day, Peppa and her friends are in the school playground.
(Madame Gazelle blows the whistle twice)
Madame Gazelle: Children, today we have a special person coming to teach you basketball.
The Children: Oooh!
Daddy Pig: Hello!
Peppa Pig: Daddy, it isn't home time yet.
Suzy Sheep: We've got a special teacher coming today.
Daddy Pig: That's me, I'm the coach.
Narrator: A basketball teacher is called a coach.
The Children: Oooh!
Peppa Pig: That's clever Daddy.
Daddy Pig: Peppa call me coach.
Peppa Pig: Ok Daddy Coach.
Daddy Pig: Does anyone know how to play basketball?
The Children: No.
Daddy Pig: It's fun, you have to run.
(Daddy Pig runs on the spot)
Daddy Pig: Bounce the ball.
(Daddy Pig bounces the ball in one spot)
Daddy Pig: And throw it through the hoop.
(The basketball goes through the hoop)
The Children: Wow!
Freddy Fox: Easy peasy.
(Freddy Fox throw the ball but it didn't reach the hoop)
Freddy Fox: Oh.
Narrator: It is not as easy as it looks.
Daddy Pig: To play basketball you need to train hard and keep fit.
Suzy Sheep: Are you fit Daddy Coach?
Daddy Pig: Yes, I'm super fit.
Peppa Pig: But Daddy Coach, you've got a big tummy.
Daddy Pig: This tummy is pure muscle.
The Children: *Laughs*
Daddy Pig: First I'll teach you how to get the ball from here to here.
Danny Dog: I can do that.
(Danny Dog kicks the ball with his foot)
Daddy Pig: No Danny, you can't use your feet, that's football.
Narrator: Danny Dog likes football.
Daddy Pig: In basketball you bounce the ball with your hands, like this.
(Daddy Pig bounces the ball while moving)
Daddy Pig: Who wants a go?
Suzy Sheep: Me, Me, ME!
(Suzy Sheep those the same thing that Daddy Pig was doing)
Narrator: Suzy Sheep is bouncing the basketball very carefully.
Daddy Pig: Well done Suzy, now everyone try.
(All of the children try to bounce the balls in different ways)
Narrator: Everyone is learning how to bounce the ball.
(Daddy Pig blows the whistle)
Daddy Pig: Now I'll teach you tackling.
Suzy Sheep: What's tackling?
Daddy Pig: Tackling is trying to get the ball from another player, like this.
(Daddy Pig starts to bounce the ball)
Daddy Pig: Try and get the ball from me George.
(George successfully grabs the ball from the spot that Daddy Pig was bouncing it in)
Narrator: George is very good at tackling.
Daddy Pig: Now throw the ball through the hoop.
(But then George threw the ball in the opposite direction of where the hoop was)
Daddy Pig: Ho, Ho, you need just a bit more training there George.
George Pig: *Laughs* *Oink twice*
Daddy Pig: Let's have a little practice game, split into two teams.
Danny Dog: *Woof Woof* Boys against Girls.
(Everyone splits into two teams)
Narrator: The girls are in one team, the boys are in the other.
Pedro Pony: That's not fair, we've got little ones on our team.
Danny Dog: Don't worry, the boys team will still win.
Pedro Pony: Yeah, we're a super team.
(Daddy Pig blows the whistle and throws the ball in the air)
Emily Elephant: *BARAG*
(Emily Elephant catches the ball with her trunk)
Narrator: Emily Elephant is very good at reaching high with her trunk.
Peppa Pig: *Oink* Emily is using her trunk, it's not fair.
Suzy Sheep: Shoosh Peppa, she is on our side.
Peppa Pig: Oh yes, that is fair.
Danny Dog: *Woof Woof* It's not fair.
Pedro Pony: We want Emily on our team.
Peppa Pig: No, she is in our team.
Daddy Pig: Stop arguing, you can all be in the same team.
Peppa Pig: Ok.
(Everyone gets into one big team)
Narrator: The children are all in one big team.
Peppa Pig: Oh, but you will we play?
Daddy Pig: Um well...
(Then suddenly the parents arrived to the school)
The Parents: Hello!
Narrator: The parents have come to take the children home.
Daddy Pig: I know, *Oink* you can play the grownups.
Danny Dog: But they are bigger then us.
Daddy Pig: Ah, but you've been taught basketball by Daddy Coach.
Peppa Pig: Yes, let's play them.
Pedro Pony: We're the children's team.
The Children: Yay!
Mr. Elephant: We're the grownups team.
The Parents: All Right!
Mr. Rabbit: I'm quite good at cricket.
Daddy Pig: Yes well, this is basketball.
Suzy Sheep: You throw the ball through the hoop.
Peppa Pig: But you can only use your hands.
Emily Elephant: Or your trunk.
Danny Dog: But not your feet.
Daddy Pig: Ready, Steady, Go!
(Daddy Pig then throws the ball in the air and Mr. Elephant catches the ball with his trunk)
Narrator: Mr. Elephant has the ball.
(George then grabs the ball from Mr. Elephant)
Narrator: Tackled by George.
(George then throws the ball to Zoe Zebra)
Narrator: Past to Zoe Zebra.
(She then past the ball to Richard Rabbit)
Narrator: To Richard Rabbit.
(Richard Rabbit then goes through the parents and give the ball Peppa Pig)
Narrator: And Peppa...
(Peppa successfully throws the ball through the hoop)
Narrator: Throws It Through The Hoop!
Peppa Pig: Yippie!
Daddy Pig: The children have won.
The Children: Hooray!
Peppa Pig: All thanks to Daddy Coach.
(Everyone then starts to laugh and the episode ends)
